What to Bring
You will need to bring whatever you need to be comfortable camping… it gets hot in the middle of the day, and might get cold at night, you may want sun protection.
- Sleeping structure (as simple as a tent or hammock. There are some trees for hammocks at Constellation!) Camp has some extra tents if you need them, check with Spacious to reserve.
- Sleeping bag and pad, pillow
- Clothes for a wide variety of weather types. It does get colder in the mountains, and it may rain a little bit.
- Tooth brush and such. There are showers and sinks at Constellation.
- A mug or sturdy cup that you can attach to your person with a clip, so that you can walk around with it. At burns, we don't like to use disposable items like plastic cups, so if you want to enjoy a beverage of any type, its good to have your own mug that won't break.
- Personal eating utensils (bowl, plastic plate, spoon, fork) Note, these may get intermingled with other people's stuff, if you are attached to the utensils you bring, please put them back in your tent each time after using them. We have a lot of these already, so we have some to share too.
- Moisturizer for skin, SPF Lip Balm if it will be very sunny.
- Hats for the sun and for style!
- Earplugs, if you're a light sleeper.
- Leather work gloves, for camp setup and take down.
- A Head lamp or three. Its amazing how easily it is to loose a head lamp.
- Snacks/Energy Bars, as you desire. We have two meals during the day, and have some food for snacking.
- Beverages, some non-alcolholic and hydrating (coconut water is great for this). We provide all the drinking water you need.
- Knee Pads (if you need them for contact improvisation dance)
- Fun Clothing/ Costumes, Playful and comfortable (We may set up a dressing room/ costume share space...if you have costumes that you'd like to share with others or give away, please bring them!)
What you DON'T need to bring:
- Rebar/Heavy Duty Tent Stakes
